Hello All,

I have a good friend in PA that wants to sell me his 1987 MB Diesel for a reasonable price...$1500-2000. It's got 180,000 miles and I know he's taken good care of the car. I would have to drive this beast across the country.

But I wanted to ask. Is this a good model? Anything particularly bad or anything I should know before purchasing it?

Any input, comments, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
