to get my jack stands under the rubber mounts I use the jack that came in the trunk. I think it would be ok to use the crossmember to jack it up, but never anything else such as the control arms, or the suspension components. These items will bend. I don't ever jack my car up anywhere except where I am supposed to because a guy in a tire shop jacked my 140 up from the control arms once, and it ruined both of them, costing several thousand to replace.
