Sorry, I'm really pretty ignorant as to how all this mechanical engineering works....hopefully someone will stop by on this thread and help.
I did notice that when I pulled the electrical connection off the ICV (as a test to see what happens) the idle was high (can't remember, I think it was 1000 rpm or maybe more...was a while ago)
Perhaps a brand new ICV would do it (it seemed reasonably priced at Fastlane, outrageous at the MBZ dealer

) I've also seen posts where people replaced the Idle Control Electronics module
Hopefully someone who knows more than me will post...
