One thing to also check is look and see if there is floor mat/rug bunching up under gas pedal.. also sand and dirt. That restricts the pedal full up position and will show as a CTP/ idle switch contact code.
A look at the cable on the engine end is to pull the cable sideways and see if you have a 1/4 of slack... too tight on that end will also have the same results..that is adjustable.
