Go to
www.northerntool.com and type: "Oregon grease gun" in keyword search. There you will see the little W.German made grease gun which is made exactly for this. Cost $20 . Neat, it also does regular grease zirks.
(For some reason NT put it under chain saws. But if they put it under Mercedes it would probably cost twice as much.
