At repair shop with trained technician the R & R time is around 5.5 hrs & that includes removal of the intake manifold.

A rebuilt exchange unit is the best way to go unless you have a GOOD Bosch diesel pump repair shop there in PR.

You do need special tools to TIME the pump when re-installing.
