outlook links

Med,

There are a few Outlook links if you use that as your mail system. It can transfer contacts, meetings, notes / memos, and to-do items. You can also transfer email but that is not a fit for me.

I use this as a consultant at client sites. I get many meeting requests a week. A quick sync up - similar to the palm desktop - and all the info on both systems is up to date. For me the meeting detail information like locations, dial in info, and agenda info can be transferred. I also track my hours on my calendar so re-syncing at home as well gives me a record of my billable hours and expenses.

I got a samsung I-330 palm phone about 2 years ago. It is good but not great at being both a palm and a phone. The screen is a bit small. There is some good integration of the palm and phone. Go to the address book, select an entry, tap it once and the phone will ask if you want to dial that number. The touch screen is also the phone dial pad and is hard to do accurately with a finger vs. the stylus.
