Addendum to previous post. Alternator is fastened onto bracket by BIG 19mm bolt. Not a lot of room and mucho torque to remove...expect skinned knuckles...
Also, replacement usually arrives w/o pulley...so you have to remove the existing pulley from the old alternator and fit it onto the new one. Takes an impact wrench to do it...I had a local shop do this for me N/C!
I found I could replace the belt w/o messing with the tensioner. Removing the radiator shroud and the three bolts that hold the fan onto the clutch gave me plenty of room to get the old belt off and put the new one on. The wide belt makes this much easier than the old V-belt days.
