I agree! Sounds like you did your homework as far as your system is concerned.
I had to quit stuffing subs in my cars when I got married and started a family.
I don't particularly care for the pathetic OEM systems offered by MB (or anyone else), but I get to have my butt kicked every weekend by my arsenal of bass cabinets when I'm playing with the band! So, it's a tradeoff.
