Remove the "big" screws that are visible on top of the plenum; on both sides and the middle. On the drivers side, there's another hose the attached to the plenum that needs to be removed. Then lift it up and out. You see a formed rubber drain hose that probably needs to be replaced since you'll find lots of "stuff" plugging it up!

Now may be a good time to replace the pre-filter. It's call that since theres another filter in the bowels of the car that's called the main filter. If it's the CHARCOAL treated version, there's a few more $$$; mine was but you can replace it with the non-charcoal version. The charcoal version works better but is considerably more expensive than the non-charcoal version.

So now that you can see the blower reg, use silicone paste to ensure adequate heat transfer to the blower motor case. The connectors just unplug and it's one of the easiest jobs you will ever do on that car.
