I have a 1986 300E with five speed manual transmission, cabernet red paint (587) with palomino mbtex interior (174). I am the second owner, purchased from MB dealer in Princeton, NJ on 2-27-90. Currently has 121,000 miles and in near concours condition. Never experienced any major problems. I have been in love with this car since day one. Just had ac overhauled but not converted. Wish there was a registry for '86 and '88 300E five speed owners.
