I though about this right after I posted that idea... how ridiculous is it that doing the "right thing" could once again get the law abiding parent in trouble. What a sham. I would hope that out local police would field such a call in the spirit in which it was intended... but, then, they can use whatever they find however they please. While I think 99% of cops are decent, there's that 1%. I have heard the stories... that's too bad.
