Be sure to double check to make sure ALL the bolts are removed, look very carefully for remaining bolts, it's kind of an odd-shaped pan so don't miss any.

We won't ask about the bolt, but I'll keep a sharp eye.
As to the Loctite Sealant, I purchased what was advertised on one of the Web based parts house's sites as Loctite 5900. The package showed up today and it is a 50 ml tube with MB Logo and Part # 003.989.98.20.10. There is no mention of "Loctite" anywhere on the tube; and I can't cross reference the part number in the Shop Materials section of the EPC.
Unless I can get some assurance from the vendor in writing, I don't think I'm going to use some undefined MB sealant on such a mission critical place as the oil pan.
