Anyone experience a similar cycle?

The car will start right up, but immediately stalls. It has been doing this intermittently for the past few weeks. Drives fine otherwise. No stalling at stops or any other time. If I hold the revs, after starting, and gently let off, it stalls. Once I put it in gear and move, no stalling.

Curious.
