Cost me $900+ to ship 2 cars about 500 miles. The plan was to ship 1 car for $750, but when the driver showed up, he was cool enough to pick up the other car for an extra $125. I'm sure I could have gotten a better 1-car price if I had more time to call around; as it was, I only had about 2 days' notice and most carriers like at least a week.
