My car is OBD1A, I think, since it is an '94 model. As I understand it, in '96, OBDII is what MBs are compliant to as well as all other cars. But you can read the codes from the X11 Diag connector as well as the OBDII compliant connector inside the car.

The codes that I've posted on my page are MB codes which can be read from an AST scanner via X11 (or from the built in LED/switch combo) and are, strictly speaking, written in MB-speak. The OBDII versions are a little more cryptic in nature.
