My brother and I spent a good 35% of our youths coming up with alternate lyrics for songs. "Looks like trouble in paradise" became "looks like bubbles in Minute Rice," "We're off to never never land" (Metallica) became "We're off to shop at Carpet Land," "Damn/I wish I was your lover" "Damn/I wish I was Danny Glover," and so on. I am sure we nicked the Single Asian Man idea from somewhere, though. I think I have heard it before.
