Like most of the DIY'ers of this forum, I fixed my mirror with Velcro which is much more forgiving than using a permanent adhesive fix since you can adjust it if it isn't straight, etc.
However, I would like to know if somebody can fix my autodimming feature since i'm constantly getting blinded by people behind me and have to adjust the rearview mirror down or up. Is this a common problem with the autodimming feature with MB's since my 2001 Volvo had this feature and it worked fine. If somebody has the schematics or is able to figure out how to fix this feature I would certainly be interested since I don't have $800-900 for a rearview mirror
