They made 400000 to 500000 a year from late 47 to 52 or 53.(I forget now, but used to know that stuff). 9Ns were made several years prior to the 8N, and were rather similar with only 3 fwd gears and one brake on each side instead of both on the right. Rather awkward. I love looking on ebay and different websites at old tractors. It's just what we like:

I sold mine for 2K, which is a very good price for one in good shape, to a little old retired guy who said it had spent it's last night outside! Very sorry to see him drive that little tractor over to his trailer
I loved that tractor. It sounded like something from the '40s
