The ID of the EGR tube is about 3/4", cleaning 1/16" with a speedo cable WON'T get the job done! IF you want to code to go away then REPLACE the tube! Takes about 2.5-3 hrs & the parts run about $160. Otherwise learn to live with the light!

IF it was a vacuum hose problem the light would come on after EACH drive cycle.
