Dan, there is no need to crawl under your car to drain the oil. MB engines are
designed for suction (vacuum ) extraction through the dipstick tube.

Simple, you buy an extractor such as a Topsider, or a Mity-Vac unit.
Just do google search on oil extractor. I have had a Topsider for 7 years or so. You pump up the vacuum, insert the plastic tube down the dipstick, and then release the hose clamp. Oil is sucked into the container.
