I replaced the front speaker wires in my 87 260E (to go around the factory fader), and when I put the glove box back together...it won't open. Sigh. I've tried the key, etc, and the thing just won't open. The handle kind of sticks out a bit. To get it out I had to do some trial and error, and I ended up taking the handle part out, and I think this is why I can't get it to open.
Anyway, how can I get the glovebox to open again? I just need to be able to get it open, and then I can fix it, but I haven't had any luck with opening the box.
