Actually, the exhaust seals should be larger. It should definetly be noticable - the top holes are larger in diameter to accomodate the larger stem.

(how many other people have 2 m117 heads and several valves within 2 feet of their computer desk?~)

The VERY tops of the intake and exhaust valves have the same diameter. But the exhaust valves increase in diameter shortly thereafter. This also makes taking those keepers out a pain in the @ss because the retainer only goes down to that point.
