In a cents per mile cost my Toyota probably cost me only a few cents a mile. I bought it for $3,500 put maybe about $700 into it. So a total ou tlay of $4,200. I then drove it for 15k miles and sold it for $3,200 to my Aunt. But I got in a minor accident during my ownership and collected about $1,200. $200 to fix the bumper $1k in my pocket. So my total out lay was only $3,200.
I basicly got 15k miles for the cost of fuel and insurance.
Now my SDL is averaging about $1 a mile, but I think I may be down delow that.
My moms 1996 Olds Ciera has only had maybe two minor problems in the 60k she put on it. So far maybe only $300 in repairs in 60k miles, thats not bad at all.
