That is a good website that Palangi pointed out. I book marked it for future reference. The key point is that hitches are still available for the 123 chassis. I would suggest a receiver tube type over fixed on a wagon. Fixed are cheaper, but are bruised and battered shins worth the savings. Also I would still contact a professional installation shop, buy the hitch through them, and have them install it. The labor charge is minimal compared to you spending a weekend gathering up all the drills and tools needed to do the job. As a professional MB mechanic with a full blown shop at my disposal, that is the way I would personally go.
