He would be 10 mil richer and walk away without this hassle? Sounds like a clear cut case to me. If I didn't have my wife's interests at heart, I would take the money and wash my hands off the matter. If I did, I'd refuse it.
Lets say he takes the 10 mil and run. Well it confirms that he is out for the money. So??? He'd be 10 mil richer and no hassle and all you will have on him is that he is out for the money. Big deal. For 10 mil, I'll let you insult me any way you want.
