Thanks everyone,
Fortunately for me none of the parts "appeared" broken. With the aid of a mirror, I was able to see "lips" on the metal strip that holds the cable into the sliding assembly. I pivoted the odd shaped bracket until it engaged the "lips." All worked fine, until I reattached the inner door panel and soomed the window up/down. Bracket disengaged again. While reattempting to rotate it back in place the retaining clip for the cable popped out.

Most likely the parts have lost their tension and I'll be pulling the power window assembly out to R&I the assembly that attaches to the window lower edge.

One question.
Does the rotating bracket assembly slide in from the top of the rear window guide, therefore requiring removal of the side, cable & motor assembly?

Thanks again.
Bob
