Well,
First of all I would think something went wrong while installing the aftermarket stuff. If you get nothing on your sunshade it is possible that a power line or switched circuit got cut or grounded. My windows on my 140 acted funny too if there was low voltage. Try syncing the windows up first and see if that helps. (hold down all window buttons for 3 seconds after completly closed) that syncs them and tells the controller where they are. Then I would check the power at the fuse on the sunshade. See if you are getting power to the fuse block for that circuit, if you are, then pull the switch, check the power to the switch, if power there then check the power to the motor, just hook a little 12 volt bulb into the circuit and when you hit the switch it should light up, if not then you have a bad circuit, if you get power, then you have a bad motor on the sunshade. Regarding your turn/high beam stalk, try moving your steering wheel a bit and see if that helps, (the tilt/telescope) otherwise think back and determine if anything has been done to it. Did someone try/install a controller for a sound system on the stalk or wheel areas? Don't let anyone mess with your car that you don't trust. If I don't do it myself it goes to the dealership. The controls and wiring in these cars are not basic stuff, so unless someone knows what they are doing it is just best to leave it alone. Happy Benzing!
