You don't have an "ignition" condensor.
ALL of the benzes past something like 1972 came with a transistorized system. While there was still a condensor present, it's only purpose in life is to suppress noise on the radio.
If you send me an email (cth@mbz.org), I can reply with the section off the service CD that you need for checking the ignition with a volt meter.
