I have had no kickdown from 4th to 3rd gear for a couple of weeks now (I used to before that?), although I have been getting a kickdown from 3rd to 2nd and 2nd to 1st. I checked my kickdown switch and realized that the pedal wasnt touching it even when "floored" so my temporary fix has been this hose clamp which allows me to press the kickdown switch when I "floor" it. So, with the temporary fix I can get a kickdown, but without it I cant get it from 4th to 3rd.

so my questions:
1 - how do I adjust the pedal to make contact with the kickdown switch?

2 - also, why arent I getting a kickdown from 4th to 3rd when I floor it (but without hitting the kickdown switch)? Should I worry about this or just let it slide...
