So, with the temporary fix I can get a kickdown, but without it I cant get it from 4th to 3rd.

so my questions:
1 - how do I adjust the pedal to make contact with the kickdown switch?

2 - also, why arent I getting a kickdown from 4th to 3rd when I floor it (but without hitting the kickdown switch)? Should I worry about this or just let it slide...

Thanks for looking

I think you need to be creative with

#1.....I glued a small split section of fuel hose to the round part of the go pedal. Was enough top do it on mine. Watch someone inform me of something else stupid simple to adjust it.

#2....you won't kick down 4th to 3rd at 70 mph....but you will about 40-50 mph ... but I think the kick down switch will be doing that.
