Lightbulb Easy, Buy 1" Putty Knife!

Hey, this is easy for the most part. Buy a 1" wide putty knife with a fairly solid handle. Tap it in between the pan and the block with light taps of a hammer in the most accessible place. Then turn in what ever direction you need to go and work it along the pan.

You should not have to beat it up. Easy taps. Work into all the areas you can. Then if you can't get to all of them, when most of it is loose you can lever with the putty knife. It will flex and do less damage to the seat. If you need more torque pry open with the putty knife enough to get a larger flat pry bar in for the final pop off, the wider the better. The quality of the knife will determine the strength you have to work with.

Once off use the putty knife to scrape it all away!
