Thanks for advice, I should look with more detail into the steering wheel rubbing.
Regarding front wheeels perhaps I did not explain myself correctly, the noise seems to come from the hub/brakes area rather than the tyre itself. In fact I just returned from a shopping ride and it has not squeal or creek or anything, strange..hmmmm
