I have 87 300 sdl with a tach that works intermittently. I have serched the forums and found the infamous "cigarette butt" repair. I cannot, however, find the tach amp on my 300 sdl. Does it have one? If so can someone give me a detailed description where to find it? If it doesnt have one, any suggestions on troubleshooting tach problem would be appreciated. I know this is a loose connection problem, I just need to know where to look for the tach connections.
