yeah, It could have been off already, and there was no forewarning. There was no missing/knocking/anything prior to or anything.

I didn't notice the economy gauge during the stall, was more concerned with getting safely off the road. And, I don't recall hearing the fuel pump noise when attempting to start it. That was one thing I thought might be a possibility actually... But I don't remember for sure hearing it or not. I'm used to listening for good/bad diesel noises!
