ITs the M104 in my car. Thanks for the info. I think I found it after I posted this, based on the diagram in the link ( I downloaded some sections the manual the other day now can't find it on my laptop
)... I just didnt want to start taking something apart that might not be it

I figured I would just "twist off" as you do spin on filters on normal cars; take off canister, exchange filters, and put back. If "special" tool needed, is that a MB tool, or an oil filter "plier" like a Mac Tools or Snap ON... those I have.
ITs been a ****ty day raining anyway, so probably won't do it till tommorrow ..
