Definitely check and clean all the fittings (particularly the banjo fitting at the back of the manifold) and lines associated with the overboost and ALDA. My wagon was a PIG until I did all the above and cranked the ALDA. My ALDA is now fully backed-out and I think it could probably use some shims under it as well since there's barely any smoke at full throttle.
