There is a loud rear end whine when coasting after taking my foot off the gas. I've pretty much narrowed it to the final drive. Can any repairs or adjustments be made with the unit still in the car such as ring to pinion depth? My last step would be to get a replacement from the junk yard but I'd like to try and repair it first.
