Hi,
The car is a w210. My EC switch cannot be turned off and the compressor is not working.
I recently tried the in-car diagnosis showing error codes from the aircon digital display. It shown an error in the evap temp sensor. I changed the sensor and fortunately, my aircon problem was solved. everything was now working fine.
The problem is that when I checked the in-car diagnosis from the A/C digital display, it still shows the same error code that the Evap temp sensor is still not working.
How is that?? I changed it already and the A/C is working fine...
Do I have to go to a dealer or someone with a computer interface to erase this code? Is there a cheaper way to erase this code?
