To restore the seat to new condition will depend on whether the seat frame has broken spring wires or not. If it does, pool noodles will be a mediocre fix. The proper solution is to replace the spring frame. However, the cost is $250. or so. Finding one from a passenger seat is definitely the economical way to go.

The seat has a shaped foam bottom that can also be replaced to achieve "like new" condition. It can be obtained from Gahh for about $100.

I replaced the frame on the SDL, but did not do the pad, although I should have.

BTW, I still have that seat overhaul booklet from ************** that you are welcome to borrow when you do the seat.
