i had an diesel '89 jetta 5 spd for a SHORT while, my junior year of high school. after i got it looking/sounding almost perfect, inside and out, some kid rear-ended me with his ghetto 70-something nova that was falling apart. on the first day of school, too...on the way home from school. needless to say, it totalled my car..the sunroof wouldn't even close. a year later, i saw that same kid. he was an employee at a go-kart track. go figure.
