Stan is probably correct. The plastic "jaw" (3 or 4 bucks at the stealership) IS inside the door and you need to remove the panel . It is not complicated but you will need to pay attention to how it comes off to avoid breaking little things you don't want broken. Smarter guys here have threads posted on how to DIY (do a search). Your first time will take a couple of hours. When the other side goes (don't ask me how I know...) it'll take less than an hour.
