My belt tensioner has come unbolted from the engine and is pushing into my water pump pulley!!!
The tensioner seems pretty trashed and I need a new one. I just hope there is no damage to the water pump. The fan clutch wires are completely broken off from the clutch connector. I undid the tensioner as though to take the belt off and the tension is still on the belt. But this is because it's pushing into the water pump pulley. I am afraid I am going to have to cut the belt off to the tensioner off. help
