Well I fixed it the next morning. I ended up cutting the belt off. The belt was trashed anyway, it's a 6 rib belt that now has 5 ribs. Turns out all I had to do was tighten the tensioner back down with a 12mm allen and install a new belt. I used roughly a 4 ft long breaker bar to torque down the tensioner bolt just to be sure it won't come loose until it is intended to be. Tensioner is pretty chewed up looking but I think it will work for now. I have pics.
