when I put on my wheels the lugs were too long and broke a couple of springs inside the rear discs for the parking brakes. I put in shorter lugs and had this nasty squeeling that would come and go.
I finally pulled the rear discs off, and found the broken springs. went to the dealer, bought the springs, and fixed it myself for under $5.00.
the lugs hit the springs because they were too long and snapped them off.
They werent too hard to put on, these springs I replaced basically held the parking brake shoes in position against the back of the hub. without them they would flex out towards the outside of the car.
You may have broken some other kind of spring in there.
My suggestion, go to the dealer, buy the springs that are broken and put new ones in.
