Dash lights are dead on my 300 sd and 280se.

Owned the SD for a year. Dash Panel lights have never worked.

Dash lights on SE worked for awhile and recently croaked.

While not absolutely essential (obviously) it would be nice if they functioned properly. Fuses OK in both cars. Where should I start?
