The hell are you waiting for? The mod is extremely easy and nothing special is required besides fabricating a blocking plate and a piece of 3/4" heater hose, sliding one end into the EGR tube until it is snug and having a breather filter from PepBoys or the likes on the other.
The other thing you should be interested in to elliminate the gooing in the intake is by performing the elephant hose mod. With the EGR re-routed and the elephant hose in place, you will never have to clean your intake manifold again...
