Seriously, yes I would consider this for me, to be a DIY, but my neighbor, who is limited to changing a tire, replacing the battery once in a blue moon, engine oil and filters, spark plugs etc, would not consider this for himself to be a DIY.
Do you have tools, time, patience, a good shop manual you can understand?
You'd probably save a bundle if you DIY......Maybe there is another way to approach this too! I'd start with a manual and see what's involved. Then maybe you can answer your own question!
