Aluminium holds up pretty well here. The usual powdering if left unprotected or not anodised. In fact, wheels, undercarrige, etc hold up much better than Canada as there is no winter, salt and gravel. The difference is the humidity is very pervasive and will corrode or pit chrome anywhere. In Canada only metal exposed to the elements corrode.
