I like the idea of a diesel too. I love my in-line 6-cylinder and the mileage is OK, but the diesel would make me feel more ecofriendly. In this day and age, better mileage and options for alternative fuels, seems very appropriate. Supposedly, you can run the diesel on cooking oil or some other renewable fuel source.
